Chestnut Cake Stand

This cake stand was made using a few pieces of chestnut. This was a commissioned project for a client. The cake stand has a circular base and top with the handle being recessed into both pieces to enhance stability and durability. A food safe oil finish was applied to ensure client safety and to enhance the natural colour of the grain.
